Vintage 1950s Roy Rogers color publicity photo original. This photo is printed on a white paper, and features Roy Rogers standing next to his horse “Trigger”. At the bottom of this photo in printed letters reads as follows “Roy Rogers……..Trigger….King of the Cowboys…Smartest Horse in the Movies…starring in Republics Musical westerns” and printed in tiny lettering reads “Printed in USA”. This is about 8 inches wide, by 9.75 inches tall. Photograph is in good to very good condition, showing some light browning from aging, light wear, and a small tear in left side margin about 1/2 inch long around Roy’s left elbow area. There are also a few light crease marks.
