Product Description
RARE 1930’s Charlie Chaplin figural rope weaver tool. This odd item is about 4.5 inches tall. It is made of a molded clay like material and is a figure of Charlie wearing a red jacket, light grey hat w/black band, light gray pants, black shoes, his patented walking black cane, and black bowtie over a white shirt. This figure is hollow with a hole at the top of his head (inside his hat). Around the hole are 4 nails. String or cord are louped around the nails and woven from one nail to another. As the rope grows, you pull the end through his body and weave it as long as you want. Overall the figure is in very good or better condition, the paint is very good, but there is general wear, and some knicks around the hat brim and a bit more chipping around the edges of his shoes.
