Original 1940s eyeglass plastic cover for desert usage. This is a government issued plastic eye cover attached to a green canvas strip which is attached to black shoestring like straps to tie onto helmet or ?. There is a snap on each side of the plastic to snap to the canvas and create a curvature to the covering. These were shipped flat thus the snap shaping. These were unused covers which were for protecting goggles or could be used by themselves to keep sand and dust out in desert areas of Africa during World War II.
