1994 Kansas City American Royal Governor's Badge and Ribbon

Original 1994 Kansas City American Royals Governor badge. This die-cast gold colored badge in the shape of a shield, and a blue ribbon attached to the bottom with the words printed in silver script "'American Royal". The American Royal is a yearly showcase for various types of livestock. Each year, the best of the best livestock in the surrounding areas comes to Kansas City Stockyards to strut their animals for competitive ribbons and cash prizes. These badges were only used for the designated year and were made out for different levels for the various competitions. Badge is in excellent condition, the ribbon is somewhat faded and the silver lettering is a bit worn.
